Terms and Conditions

General Terms and Conditions

  1. The following terms and conditions are Husky Refrigerators (UK) standard terms.
    These conditions are inted for the sole purpose of providing peace of mind to our customers and are an expression of our confidence in the quality, price and general value for money offered in our products. It is not a clever marketing tool with several opt-out clauses, but for this reason the few terms and conditions we do stipulate need to be rigidly implemented.
    Individual agreements in writing and signed by Husky directors may replace these terms in certain instances.
  2. All terms are strictly cash with order unless otherwise agreed in writing by a Director.
  3. Where a credit facility is granted, non-payment by the agreed date will result in ges of 2% above the base rate until paid in full.
  4. All monies remain the property of Husky Refrigerators (UK) Ltd until paid for in full.
  5. Orders cancelled by the customer will incur a 25% handling fee to cover the cost of transport, administration, testing and repackaging costs.
  6. Note. Many cabinets refer to generic size names. Please check actual dimensions. It is the customer’s sole responsibility to check the dimensions to ensure suitability and access at the time of the order. We reserve the right to change specifications without prior notice.
  7. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that electrics have been completed prior to the installation of remote multideck’s. Failure to have the electrical installation completed will result in a £350.00 excluding VAT ge for returning to commission equipment.
  8. Prices include delivery with the exclusion of off shore platforms, islands and foreign lands. Delivery is to the door unless previously confirmed in writing.
  9. Value Added Tax. All prices quoted are exclusive of VAT, which will be added at the appropriate rate at the time of invoice.
  10. Delivery. We will eavour to meet delivery deadlines but cannot be held liable in any way for failure to do so. All delivery timescales quoted are based on "working day" terms, this includes "Next Day Delivery".
  11. Ownership. Title in goods supplied does not pass to the purchaser until payment for goods has been received in full.
  12. Prices exclude storage. Tariff available on request.
  13. A bank charge of £25 will be ged for any cheque returned by the bank.
  14. Deliveries postponed or delayed by the customer will incur demurrage (storage charge).
  15. Images shown are for illustrative purposes only, actual units are unbranded.

WARRANTY

  1. Husky warrants that its products will be provided with a one year parts and labour warranty for commercial equipment with the exclusion of off shore platforms, islands and foreign lands whereby commercial equipment will be provided with one year parts only warranty.
  2. Warranty is void if the equipment has not been maintained, or located and installed in accordance with Husky recommendations.
  3. The following which are beyond the control of Husky Refrigerators (UK) Ltd. are NOT covered under the terms and conditions of the parts and labour warranty:

• Night Blinds

• Electrical cabling between the unit and the mains

• Light bulbs

• Vandalism / physical damage to unit or parts thereof

• Rust / scratches

• Condensate pump (any water leakage caused by pump is chargeable)

• Shelving

• Gable End Wall (Glass or Mirror)

• Power Failures

  1. This warranty will automatically cease if the product has been neglected or misused or modified in any way, or if any of its parts have been replaced by a type not specified by Husky.
  2. The warranty period for equipment or components that are exchanged under warranty will not be exted beyond the original period.
  3. Warranty claims will be limited to the warranty terms provided (this is also confirmed for reference on your invoice). No claims for labour, stock or any other losses will be accepted.
  4. Repaired parts will be given on an exchange basis.
    To make a claim or place a warranty service call, the following information must be supplied prior to the shipment of parts or engineer attending:

    Serial Number
    Original Invoice Number
    Model Number
  5. Ice machines and glasswashers must be fitted with a commercial water filter. Failure to do so will void the warranty
  6. WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT DIRECTIVE: The buyer shall comply with the supplier instructions in relation to the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (2002/96/EC) as amed from time to time and such regulations as shall come into force to enact the provisions of the directive in the United Kingdom as amed from time to time. For the avoidance of doubt the buyer shall only dispose of the goods as directed from time to time by the supplier.

    In the case of sales to businesses, the supplier reserves the right to ge the buyer a fee for removal and any goods that the new goods to be supplied by the supplier to the buyer can be said to be replacing.

Please be aware that should an engineer attend during the first year of warranty for reasons such as those listed below, charges may be incurred and will be invoiced to the end user.

  1. No faults found with the cabinet.
  2. General Misuse and/or incorrect siteing of the cabinet.
  3. Not following manufacturers guidelines.
  4. Replacement Light tubes.
  5. Condensor cleaning and/or condensor cleaning.
  6. Blocked Drains.
  7. Calls resulting from incorrect power source to the cabinet.
  8. Cabinet Refurbishment
  9. Following modification or repair by an unauthorised person.
  10. Damage to items (e.g. kickplate etc.) caused by the cabinet being resited or moved.
  11. Damage caused by accident, misuse and/or neglect.
